Carrying on traditions

Back when me and my little brothers were kids, my father would wake us up on our birthdays by blasting the Beatles' "Birthday" song. So this morning, me and my Moose had a little dance party to this:

My parents always made birthdays the most special, important day. It was like your own personal holiday. You want chocolate chip pancakes for dinner? You got it, it's your birthday. I don't have a lot of them, but I really treasure the good childhood memories that I've got. This is one of them.
